Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce Spreadex as the Club’s new principal front of shirt partner ahead of the 2022-23 season. This landmark three-year partnership with the UK-based financial trading and sports betting firm marks a significant milestone for both organizations and underscores the club’s mutual commitment to excellence and community engagement.

Starting this season, the Spreadex Sports logo will be proudly displayed on Sunderland AFC’s home and away shirts, a testament to the strength and ambition of this collaboration. This prominent placement will continue through the summer of 2025, symbolizing a long-term commitment to their shared goals.

The partnership extends beyond shirt sponsorship. Spreadex will enjoy extensive advertising opportunities with LED perimeter boards around the Stadium of Light, ensuring high visibility during matches broadcasted to a global audience. This presence will be bolstered by a strategic campaign across Sunderland AFC’s digital media platforms, including the official website and social media channels, enhancing fan engagement and interaction through dynamic and engaging content.

Additionally, Spreadex is dedicated to working closely with Sunderland AFC on a range of community and charity-based initiatives. This collaboration will see both organizations supporting local causes, fostering community spirit, and making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us.

David MacKenzie, CEO of Spreadex, said: “We are overjoyed to be partnering with Sunderland AFC at such an exciting time for the Club after their promotion back to the Championship. At Spreadex, we have also seen strong recent results as we continue to grow as a company and we look forward to working closely with SAFC – and their fans and community partners – during this long-term deal.

One initiative Spreadex will be introducing immediately is a pledge to donate £100 to the Club’s designated charity for every home goal scored by the Black Cats throughout the upcoming season. We will also be looking to launch other charity initiatives in the coming months.

This partnership is not just about sponsorship; it’s about building a stronger community and celebrating the spirit of football together.
